We breed hypoallergenic Traditional Forest Siberians and Neva Masquerade Siberians.

All our Siberian Forest cats are directly imported from different regions of Russia and have a multigenerational pedigree with WCF champions' bloodlines.

Our Code of Ethics

I am a member in good standing of The International Cat Association, Inc. (TICA) and have a TICA-registered cattery.
I will breed discriminately, and only if I can find appropriate homes for my kittens.
I will place kittens only in homes that I believe will provide a life-long commitment of love, appreciation, and responsible care.

Any kitten or cat sold as a pet/companion will be sold under the following conditions:

  • I will guarantee that the kitten/cat is in good health at the time of sale.

  • I will urge the purchaser to have the kitten/cat examined by the purchaser's own veterinarian within a few days of purchase to confirm its good health.

  • I will require that the kitten be spayed or neutered no later than 12 months of age and not be allowed to produce any offspring.

  • I will explain to the purchaser the dangers of an outdoor environment.

  • I will provide a written sales agreement that describes all the terms of the sale. I will abide by my own sales agreement.

  • I will make every effort to spay/neuter every kitten/cat prior to leaving Breeder. If this should not be possible, I will require that the kitten be spayed or neutered no later than 12 months of age and not be allowed to produce any offspring. I will provide the TICA registration certificate and/or pedigree for the kitten/cat only after I have received written evidence from a licensed veterinarian that the kitten/cat has been altered.

  • I will encourage the purchaser to contact me if the purchaser has any questions, and I will respond in a timely manner.

  • I will not release a kitten until it has been inoculated at least twice against the following: Panleukopenia, Feline Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus. I also may choose to give other vaccinations.

FAQs

What are Hypoallergenic Siberian Forest and Neva Masquerade cats?

Fel d 1, the major allergen produced by cats, is a tetrameric protein of 35–40 kDa, constituted of two heterodimers of 18–20 kDa. Each subunit comprises two polypeptide chains, chain 1 and chain 2, encoded by two separate genes, namely Ch1 and Ch2. Fel d 1 is a secretoglobulin primarily produced in sebaceous, anal, and salivary glands and is present on the animal skin and pelt as a consequence of grooming. The Fel d 1 allergen has the potential to elicit the outbreak of symptoms with different degrees of severity: they can range from ordinary discomforts like rhinitis and conjunctivitis to potentially life-threatening asthmatic crisis.
Siberian hypoallergenic cats produce a very low level of Fel d 1 due to a protein sequence missing from their DNA. Only pure-bred Siberian cats have mutations in Ch1 and Ch2, the two genes encoding for Fel d 1 allergen. These mutations change the structure of the mature glycoprotein and, thus, its allergenic properties; the low concentration of Fel d 1 in the saliva of this subject is related to the low production of the intact allergenic molecule. A kitten's allergen level is an inherited trait. A kitten from two parents with very low allergens will also have a very low Fel d 1 allergen level. My husband and our children are highly allergic to the cats' Fel d 1 allergen; therefore, we specifically tested all our breeding Siberians to have the lowest level of Fel d 1 allergen.

What is Siberian Neva Maquerade?

The name “Neva Masquerade” comes from their original breeding place, along the banks of the Neva River, which flows through the city of St. Petersburg in Russia. The location around the Neva River was prominent for its masquerade parties among the aristocracy during the 18th and 19th centuries. The Siberian Neva Masquerade resembles the masks worn by the guests at these parties. One of the unique characteristics of these cats is their hypoallergenic white coat. The genetic mutation removed the enzyme tyrosinase, which produces the pigment melanin, which is a rare phenomenon among cat breeds. The Siberian Neva Masquerade also has a unique colorpoint pattern that produces an adorable appearance that looks like they are wearing shoes or boots. Their personality and temperament are very similar to the traditional Siberian Forest Cats. They are known for their easy-going, loving, and very affectionate personalities. They are very intelligent, communicative, and playful and get along with children, other cats, and even dogs.

Is there a health guarantee?
